BPaaS: It is a new concept in the market that employs a cloud based service model where services are provided over the internet and can be used by one or more web-enabled interface. It aims to reduce labor count and cost with its automated services.

Cloud Computing: It helps to give businesses a virtual office where virtual sharing of data through an internet connection is done. Cloud provides a flexible way to help businesses access their data in a virtual system at the same time globally.

Further, talking about how cloud based BPaaS works in the real world, there are some examples of businesses that have efficiently brought their service into renown with its support. If you are looking forward to having BPaaS in a hybrid cloud model for your business, keep a check on some pointers. There are varieties of services the cloud based BPaaS gives to link your business process, like SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service). You just need to select a particular platform for analyzing your business requirements. Here are the areas these services cater to, so you get a better idea on which service best suits your business requirement for progress.

  • SaaS (Software as a Service): It is a software model where a third party partner hosts applications and makes it accessible to the customer over internet.
  • PaaS (Platform as a Service): PaaS in a cloud computing service where customers get a platform to develop, run, and manage applications easily. With PaaS, there is no issue of constructing and maintaining your own business infrastructure
  • IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service): These are online computing services that provide an application-programming interface that looks after data partitioning, safety, backup etc.

Several business owners are using the above services brilliantly and we have some examples that prove how cloud based BPaaS is used as a core tool to enhance business functions:

–> Skype gives Voice over IP (VoIP) telephone calls as a service.
–> Craigslist offers small ads as a service.
–> LinkedIn provides business contacts and networking as a service, etc.
–> Netflix that gives video-sharing cloud services.

These companies are capable to provide such services as they include Cloud computing in their business processes, where they get massive data centers that aim to support definite workloads for business improvement. Because these firms have virtual data centers to share loads, it is easy to bring enhanced user-satisfaction and maintain efficiency to stand tall in the market against their competition. BPaaS with cloud computing helps to save time, eradicates issues in networking, removes threat to the security of the database and therefore, is best for your business future. This is one big reason businesses today are gravitating towards Cloud based BPaaS. The best Business Process as a Service is ADP, which manages payroll, accounting and legal aspects of businesses. ADP delivers payroll services according to customer’s functions.

Why businesses need Cloud-based BPaaS:

  • Cloud computing is a structure to track system resources. This enables service providers to serve customers according to their need for network, storage, and processing and bill them accordingly.
  • It helps businesses store their data securely on the internet.
  • Frees the business from uncertainties as it looks after every detail with its automated services.

Cloud includes (SaaS), (PaaS), and (IaaS) as its related services from which businesses choose the platform that best suits them. For example, payroll or shipping services are best performed with SaaS, so that such complex processes are handled swiftly. There are a plethora of benefits that cloud provides, and along with it, BPaaS is also increasing its market applicability with its service-oriented nature and well-defined interfaces. BPaaS is a standardized service that aligns with the three foundational cloud services that we talked earlier: SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS, which no other business process uses. It helps in automating functions with a strong check over security, and that makes it a must for organizations.

Bottom Line:

Businesses today benefit from Cloud based BPaaS due to several reasons that include low-cost service, quick access, easy solutions, better flexibility and much more. This service gives an environment to handle massive scaling, supports multiple languages and deployment because business requirements keep changing with time, and therefore cloud based BPaaS is necessary for easy maintenance later. Earlier processes were implemented either manually or through simple automation, however, with the advent of cloud, businesses now have an altered approach. BPaaS with cloud computing frees the employees from several issues that were common earlier with BPO companies having a lack of resources and more manual tasks. After the introduction of new technologies with more automated services, BPOs transformed to become BPaaS, which is a major reason why outsourced services now function hassle free and have regained customer trust to a large extent.

Amazing article! firstly thanks a lot for sharing such an informative article, here I would like to add one more point that is SaaS options are more popular with companies since they do not directly have any costs in terms of maintaining the servers or the platforms. They only need to pay license fees, the responsibility to maintain the servers and infrastructure is of the provider of the platform.
